  • Sponsored articles are labelled "Sponsored Content" or "Commercial Feature" and name the sponsor.
  • Sponsors do not influence independent editorial coverage, and advertising never affects whether a story is published.
  • Press releases and company submissions are treated as tips for editorial consideration only. They do not appear automatically and are never published as independent news.
  • Display advertising is clearly marked "Advertisement" and kept to a small number of placements.
